More often than not, setting up a new adult blog involves a number of link exchanges with similar sites to kick-start it's traffic. That's great for new blogs and sites, and if you follow the advice in our article 'The Art Of Link Trading' then you should benefit nicely from some extra traffic.

But as your blog becomes established and more successful, you will start to find that accepting many of the trade requests you are offered is no longer viable. Why? Because your blog has either more traffic or more PageRank than those wishing to trade. In short, any links offsite become traffic leaks. You cannot gain from most of the link exchanges you are offered.  Do not despair though, it means you can now sell links on your blog. The question is, what are they worth?
